Gian Marco Funari, Art Director and founder of the Brand, was born in Rome in 1989, the eternal, majestic, cinematic city, source of countless inspirations.
Here he attended the Ripetta Art School, discovering a passion for art history, colour and matter. At the age of 18, after visiting Valentino’s exhibition at the Ara Pacis, she focused on fashion.
He studied Fashion Design at the IED in Testaccio district in Rome and from here began his journey, his need to communicate and tell his passions.
He took his first steps in Haute Couture as an illustrator at fashion houses such as Gattinoni and Valentino, and then trained as a designer in Florence at Roberto Cavalli, followed by Alberta Ferretti. Today he has moved on from drawing to photography as a means of communication in the role of stylist. He collaborates with countless Italian and foreign magazines.
This path has reinforced the need to give birth and shape to this story.
The clothes, fabrics and colours are the dreamlike projections of an experience.
The collections, almost fairytale-like, evoke the idea of the fantastic by touching our perceptions, distant and non-worldly utopias, a slower pace, an aesthetic and symbolic fluidity projected into the future. The body is at the centre of this stylistic evolution.
Simple, romantic lines enriched with precious materials create a sensation of lightness and elegance enhancing beauty, evoking a balance that oscillates between the past and the present.
